Dumars Basically Admits Hiring Curry Was Foolish

That’s what the firing of Curry tells us.

Joe D.  is on record earlier today as saying that he feels Curry isn’t the right man to lead this team back to where it needs to be.

I don’t necessarily disagree.

BUT,

The timing sucks.

This could have been done before the draft, heck, it could have been done on the Friday after it.

Doing this just hours before free agency does not make a whole lot of sense.

I think Joe has officially lost it.

And also, who in their right mind would want to come here and coach for Joe D?  I mean, think about it.

This was definitely a crazy move. I wanted to ask you though on this eve of free agency, any chance Dumars likes Ramon Sessions and sees him as the true PG of the future? I know the Bucks gave him the offer over Charlie, but Pistons assumingly have a lot more money and could one-up the Bucks. I am not gonna lie…I have never seen Sessions play but I’ve been reading up on him and his numbers and it seems he could be the next big PG in the waiting and such a signing could hearken back to when Joe signed Chauncey out of nowhere seemingly. Finished out the season last year pretty strong.

I don’t have a strong feeling one way or another about Sessions, but I will say I wouldn’t be against it.

Charlie V. is a no-no for me. He’s a finesse player and very inconsistent.

I would like Detroit to go after Millsap and heck, maybe Sessions.
