- The Bucks GM John Hammond did a lot of moving around this summer, as the team has decided to go in a different direction and build around a new core group of players. The Bucks, after souring their relationship with longtime Milwaukee guard Brandon Jennings, ended their relationship after Jennings was shipped to division rival Detroit, for guard Brandon Knight and two prospects.

Jennings backcourt partner last year, Monta Ellis, also jilted Wisconsin for Dallas to join forces with Dirk Nowitzki. Now, Larry Sanders is left to fend for himself, as he finds himself as the only core player left a Buck. With the insertion of new blood and younger players, the Bucks looked to be facing a rebuilding process with their new look roster. Even though they won’t be as awful as the Magic, Bobcats, or 76ers, they won’t be in the mix for the playoffs. They hope the duo of Mayo and Knight can resurrect their careers in Milwaukee.

2013-2014 Prediction: 30-52

Glad to finally see some Pistons lov, albeit on a Pistons blog. I don’t think people grasp how massive an upgrade the team received from Knight to Jennings.

Definitely, With the additions of Smith, Jennings to the core of Monroe and Drummond, Detroit has the talent to enter the top 6 of the conference if they mesh well, as I think they will do.
